Just a short trip and walk up Mount Baw Baw. It’s actually a ski resort, so there aren’t many visitors in summer. But one restaurant was still open. The elevation’s over 1500 metres above sea level.

This one was a much longer trip—to Lake Tyrrell. It’s called a lake, but there’s not much water in it. It’s a dry salt lake, and the place is absolutely stunning—covered in salt crystals. Pink salt, no less! It’s such a unique spot, I used a fisheye lens to match the mood.

And here’s the Murray—the biggest and longest river in Australia. It was traditionally used by paddle steamers. We even got to take a ride on one.

Pioneer Settlement – A lovely little tourist village with old-style houses, shops and vintage cars. Volunteers dressed in period clothing walk the streets and share stories from history.
