The "sunset bikers" I’m talking about aren’t ones that’ve ridden off into the sunset for good — I mean the romantic type, the ones who rock up to watch the sunset.
Turns out, bikers often get the same kind of ideas. Like, there I was, sitting at home on a Sunday arvo, minding my own business, quietly tinkering with my gear. Then the sun pops out — and mate, how could I resist! Had to drop everything, jump on the bike, and head down to the beach at Frankston to catch the sunset. Honestly, anyone in my shoes would’ve done the same!
And what’s this about bikers thinking alike, you ask? Well, turns out a heap of others had the exact same idea. When I got to Frankston, I found a spontaneous biker meet-up — all sorts there, from blokes on antique single-cylinder bikes from the '50s and old fellas on Harleys, to young guns on litre sportbikes.
Naturally, I slotted right in, had a yarn with a few of them, snapped a bunch of photos. Afterwards I had a wander along the water, occasionally bugging people to pose for a few shots. Anyway, here’s how it all looked: https://www.flickr.com/
And here’s a bunch of dogs I snapped too. Don’t ask me why I took photos of them — but they turned out hilarious, absolute clowns! https://www.flickr.com/gp/
And finally, here’s a video I threw together from leftover footage around Warnet. My first video was all sunset vibes, but I shot a heap of stuff earlier too. Didn’t want to chuck it all out, so I stitched together another little clip: https://youtu.be/0VmEVSdtSKI
Oh — bit of a brag — one of my photos got printed in LION magazine! They found it on Flickr and asked for permission to use it.
Закатные байкеры и собаки
Байкеры закатные не в смысле закатились тут, а те которые романтические, на закат приехали посмотреть.
