"Ah, Warneet — a pearl by the sea..."

Well, not exactly a pearl and not exactly by the sea, but Warneet’s a pretty lovely little village full of yachties and fishermen.

The best thing about Warneet is it’s only about a 20-minute drive from my place. I made the most of that during the COVID lockdowns. Back then we were stuck at home for months, only allowed out for an hour a day within 5km from home, or to pop down to the supermarket.

During the first lockdown, we were all a bit scared and did what we were told. But when the lockdowns kept happening and I realised the whole thing was a rotten circus of a fake pandemic, my good behaviour pretty much disappeared. I came up with an excuse in case the cops pulled me over, and started heading out around the area to go for walks and take photos. Warneet became one of my favourite spots. The cops never showed their faces out there, so people felt a lot freer. No one wore masks, the police tape got ripped off the playgrounds, and honestly, it just felt easier to breathe out there.

And yeah, the sunsets over the river are bloody beautiful. I’ve photographed Warneet heaps of times already, but this time I took the drone out for a spin too.

"Ax, Warneet - жемчужина у моря..."

Ну, не совсем жемчужина и не совсем у моря, однако Варнит это очень милая деревня яхтсменов и рыбаков.

Самое лучшее в Варните то, что от моего дома туда ехать буквально 20 минут. Чем я и пользовался во время коронавирусных карантинов. Мы тогда сидели под замком месяцами, с разрешением только выходить на прогулку на час не далее 5км от дома, и в местный супермаркет.

Во время первого карантина мы как-то боялись и слушались. А когда карантины стали повторяться и я осознал, что это гнилой цирк фальшивой пандемии, моя законопослушность испарилась. Я придумал отмазку на случай если меня остановят копы, и стал ездить по округе чтобы гулять и фотографировать. Варнит был одним из любимых мест. Копы туда вообще нос не показывали, так что народ чувствовал себя свободно. Маски никто не носил, полицейские ленты с детских площадок сорвали, и вообще дышалось там лучше.

Ну и да, закаты там на реке шикарные. Фотографирован Варнит был мною неоднократно, а теперь я выбрался туда и с дроном.
